Saturday 7th June at 7pm: Ben Saunders Concert
We are delighted to be able to welcome Ben back to St Michael's, to perform another wonderful programme of works on the organ and accordion. Ben is an Internationally acclaimed organist who was very well received when he came to play at St Michael’s last year. Ben says “I always aim to delight and enthral audiences with a unique mix of classical, jazz, dance and popular music. I've been fortunate to have performed in many countries and made recordings conducting choirs and playing the organ. Having spent most of my life leading cathedral music in England, it's just as thrilling to share entertaining and varied concerts with new audiences in local village churches. As well as playing the organ, I bring along a classical accordion, a more intimate instrument that is both mesmerising in its complexity and incredibly expressive.” You can read more about him at Ben Saunders music Tickets available on the door, and refreshments will be available at the end of the concert, when Ben would love to meet the audience and chat about his music.
