Music and Arts events

Saturday 7th June at 7pm: Ben Saunders Concert: We were delighted to be able to welcome Ben back to St Michael's on 7th June, to perform another wonderful programme of works on the organ and accordion. Ben is an Internationally acclaimed organist who is always very well received when he comes to play at St Michael’s. Ben saysI always aim to delight and enthral audiences with a unique mix of classical, jazz, dance and popular music. I've been fortunate to have performed in many countries and made recordings conducting choirs and playing the organ. Having spent most of my life leading cathedral music in England, it's just as thrilling to share entertaining and varied concerts with new audiences in local village churches. As well as playing the organ, I bring along a classical accordion, a more intimate instrument that is both mesmerising in its complexity and incredibly expressive.” You can read more about him at Ben Saunders music Ben has already booked a concert date here for next year: Saturday 6th June 2026, 7pm.
