We welcome enquiries for Baptisms (Christenings) from anyone who lives in Malhamdale or with strong connections to St Michael's. We are happy to arrange baptisms on Saturdays or Sundays as stand-alone services, or as part of our regular 10am Sunday services, especially at one of our new Family Services on the first Sunday of each month.
Please check your address on A Church Near You to find out if you live in our parish.
Baptism marks the beginning of the spiritual journey, and is the special way in which we welcome people in to God's family, and pray God's blessing on them. Children usually have 2-3 God-parents, all of whom need to be baptised themselves.
Please contact Revd Sue on sue.mcwhinney@leeds.anglican.org or on 01729 830293, or 07484 181699 if you'd like to make an enquiry about Baptism for yourself or for your child.
